CBTE 120 - Tentative Class Schedule

Please Note: the work may be submitted at any time before the "due date".  Some flexibility is given during the first two weeks of the class. It is expected the student will be on-schedule by the 3rd week. This calendar is tentative and may be modified during the class. Any modifications will be posted on the class home page.

Some projects may require the use data files or pictures and graphics. Those files can be found linked to the top of the the e-book sceen.

As you proceed through each module you will be guided through the creation of a product. Often a second or third project will also be assigned. All projects and question responses for a given module MUST be submitted together - no partial evaluations will be given. Question answers should be included within the text of the email. Plase make sure all answers include the question.

Final Assignment: Create your resume, cover letter with letter head, and GPA calculations
This is your final and as such should represent your best effort. This project has a value of 200 points! You should demonstrate as many techniques as practical incuding but not limited to - incorporating borders, references and citations, smart art, watermarks and tables, and .pdf and html formats.

The resume should be no longer than two pages in addition to the one page cover letter.

Pages of the resume should be numbered using a footer and should have a watermark.

Add a page to the back of your resume that contains a formatted table.
The table should list 10 courses you may have taken (you can make these up),
the grade received, and grade points (A=4, B=3, C=2, etc.). The last row
should then use an averaging macro (utility) to calculate and display the average (as calculated by Word) -- the GPA).
Be sure to add column headings, table title,etc. Additionally add a short summary of your goals on the same page,
external to the table (either above or below).
